Here at SOS Chefs it is commonly said that an ounce of Fenugreek is more valuable than an ounce of gold. And for good reason. Fenugreek seeds and leaves have long been harvested and used to aid in digestion, clear the skin, produce breastmilk, control blood sugar levels, and cure fevers. It has a sweet almost maple-like flavor with notes of nuttiness. The leaves can be brewed like a tea and the seeds are a common ingredient in many curries, chutneys, rice and vegetable dishes.
